On our way to Jonathan Lee’s concert tonight, we decided to try out the highly recommended Botanical Hotel. Luckily, we were able to secure a table. This was our first time dining at this restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food and the impressive service. Our dinner was truly enjoyable, filled with mouth watering foods and refreshing drinks! The Botanical Hotel experience perfectly complemented the emotional songs performed by Jonathan Lee at the concert. It was a truly wonderful night, filled with fantastic dining treat and heart touching concert!

Really good food, I had the scotch fillet with fries and broccolini! No assigned waiters so random drinks kept coming out, asked the same questions a couple times and after we were seated, we waited for some time and had to go grab someone to serve us. Overall it was good but for the price and reputation, it felt a bit amateur.

Had lunch here recently. The service was pretty average. Had to ask for water several times and remind them about my tea. It was quiet. I had the eggplant tuna sashimi. I didn't enjoy this dish. The flavours didn't combine well for me. The lentil sides was fresh and ok a bit bland though. My friend had the pumpkin risotto and that was excellent. They supplied bread which we appreciate. Not as good as my previous experiences here. Sadly bone marrow was no longer a side on their menu.

We came here for a wedding reception and were very impressed. It had a nice couple of areas that worked very well for the event. We were in awe of the quality of the staff here who were generally young. They looked after everyone superbly and were unfailingly polite, efficient and engaged throughout and everyone got plenty of food and drinks. Our impression: an excellent modern styled pub that is well managed with excellent staff. Bravo

One of the few restaurants open on Christmas Day. It is an excellent option for lunch or dinner. It has a great wine list, a good selection of food for everyone and a popular stop for weekend brunch. Walk through to the bar, sit by the cosy open fire and enjoy a sweet cocktail. Parking can be challenging, best to catch an Uber or taxi at night. During the day, maybe walk.

The fact that this place does not have 5 stars leaves me puzzled!!! Everything was perfect! I’m a pretty critical person by nature and I have no complaints about this place. Food and drinks were amazing. The servers were all incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a fine dining experience. Cannot wait to be back in Melbourne to try this place again.

I love this place, food and spritz are amazing!!! Staff are great and Pauline is very funny. Had a great lunch with my friend here and we will be back. I had oysters and they are great, steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as I asked.

Have been there before for dinner and decided to go back to try more. Nice atmosphere with friendly service. We had burgers and fish of the day and it was quite good. Also had the pickled veggies but wasn’t a big fan. Overall, quite happy with food and service.
